We have developed the UD4D AI Accelerator, a solution designed to make existing WhereScape RED and 3D environments easier to understand, change and govern.
The AI Accelerator works directly with your metadata in the WhereScape environment to trace column- and table-level lineage, assess the downstream impact of proposed changes and automate selected repetitive development tasks. It can also propagate an approved new source attribute through WhereScape 3D, RED and into the target database.
Human control remains part of every write operation. Changes are prepared for review and executed only after approval. The AI Accelerator works with metadata and transformation SQL, not business data, and is designed for on-premises deployment using the customer’s own AI provider.
In our testing, it reduced the time needed for lineage analysis by 85% and new-column propagation by 75%.
It is delivered as standalone UD4D software that runs alongside the customer’s existing WhereScape environment, with configuration and onboarding tailored to the individual repository and architecture.
